My new lens came in the post a couple of days ago! The Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L. I absolutely love it and the zoom gives me a nice rest from moving around, like I had to with my prime lenses. Yesterday I went on my first shoot with it. Lauren and I went to some beautiful gardens where part of the "Pride and Prejudice" film (2005) was set. I will post some of the photos from it shortley.

I can't believe my holidays are nearly over already. In the beginning of September I start my new college, where as one of my subjects, I will finally be studying photography!

So I’ve finished secondary school now, and have a long long summer in front of me! I’m going away to Italy this week so sorry if it’s a while before I reply to messages. Hopefully when I come back I’ll have lots of photos of beautiful Italy.

Ahh I've just realised how long it's been since the last journal! Well I hope everyone had a great Easter. Next week i'm on holiday for 2 weeks, and I may be getting a little work experience with a professional fashion photographer in London! It should be amazing. And i've only got 83 days until I finish secondary school! !
